lyrics
Now is driving me wild
Your call is blurrying my eyes
Go
Face me tonight
Pretending to bring us in line
Youre drifting again
Into the sea
Out of my hands
I shiver insane
Because I saw the place where you lay
If I could just turn the time
I would wipe crystals from your eyes
Please just dont fall into line
Because I wont go anywhere
Until I find
You in the fires
Ever since
You build the wall
I'm stealing the bricks
I'm stealing them all
And I promise that I will get in
I dont care what that means
I will focus my needs
And all over the place
You will be known as the one with no stains
And all over your face
It will flow
Insight of grace

Paper Window emotionally captures me with every listen. It houses my favourite song ever written and keeps me together when all hope feels lost. Keith Porteous (they/em)

This is the first album I found that really spoke to me as a young fem.
From the simplicity, the bass drum, specifically in landfill is so steady and soothing. I love landfill because it perfectly portrays trauma bonds, sexual or romantic relationships rooted in power imbalance. Being led on, unrequited love, constantly being clueless if someone is a real friend, or a lover. Are they yours or are they ruthlessly rogue. Untameable. Love and hate are such similar feelings, and they often mingle. clementinehatepageichangedmymind

Despite its themes of isolation and loneliness, Caroline White's latest batch of folk-pop confessionals is an LP brimming with confidence. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2019
